A FURIOUS traveler has vowed to never fly with an airline again after spotting roaches crawling near her seat.
Shocking footage shows two bugs creeping around the cabin mid-flight, leaving the woman horrified.
The incident happened on May 11 on a Spirit Airlines flight.
Symone Berry had booked one of the airline’s Big Front Seats, which offer extra legroom and wider cushions.
But instead of experiencing comfort, she says she was left horrified by a pair of roaches crawling along the aircraft wall.
Berry recorded the roaches and shared the footage on both X and TikTok.
They appeared to crawl out from the aircraft’s bulkhead, as shown in her now-viral video.
“Never again will I fly @SpiritAirlines,” she posted on X.
“I’ve flown over 500,000 miles on Delta and have never in my life seen roaches on a plane. This is crazy.”
Her video quickly amassed nearly 160,000 views.
She said she initially stayed silent after spotting the first bug.
But when a second one appeared, she decided to alert the crew.
According to Berry, the flight attendant didn’t take the complaint seriously.
In the video, the insects can be seen scurrying just inches from her legs.
After the flight, Berry said she received an apology and a $60 flight credit from Spirit.
In a follow-up post, she confirmed she would never fly with the airline again, writing, “one and done for me lol.”
Spirit Airlines, meanwhile, acknowledged the video in a statement.
“Our maintenance team thoroughly inspected the aircraft involved and addressed the issue,” an airline spokesperson said.
“We maintain high standards of cleanliness across our fleet and want all of our guests to feel comfortable when traveling with us.”
They also responded to Berry, writing, “We understand this has been a really frustrating experience and we’re here to help.
“Please DM us your confirmation number so we can take a look.”
SOCIAL MEDIA REACTS
Many people responded to Berry’s post calling the incident “diabolical.”
“To be trapped IN THE AIR beside a family of roaches would send me into orbit,” said one user.
“I mean what can the flight attendant do?” another viewer asked, siding with the flight attendants.
A couple of people wondered if the roaches were from passengers’ bags.
“Def came from someone’s luggage,” one said.
“Those roaches came from passengers’ homes,” added another.
Another user wrote, “I work TSA and trust me, I open bags and see roaches, ants, bed bugs on a daily!!
“Everything! It’s not the plane itself! It’s truly the passengers!”

PEST INCIDENTS
While the incident shocked many online, pest sightings on flights aren’t new.
Earlier this year, Turkish Airlines was slammed by passengers after reports of bedbugs on multiple long-haul flights.
One traveler said bugs were falling from the ceiling on a flight from Istanbul to San Francisco.
Another passenger on a Washington DC to Istanbul route claimed she was bitten during the flight and found insects in her blanket.
Spirit Airlines didn’t immediately respond to a request by The U.S. Sun.
