German actress Diane Kruger found a workaround for Cannes' new dress code policy.
Ahead of 2025 Cannes Film Festival, a strict new policy was implemented that prohibited "nudity" on the red carpet for "decency reasons," in addition to "voluminous outfits," like those with a large train that "hinder the proper flow of traffic of guests and complicate seating in the theater."
The new rules forced some stars to pivot their plans, like Halle Berry, who admitted that she could no longer wear her "amazing dress by Gupta" because it has "too big of a train."
Kruger, however, arrived in the French city for the premiere of the film Case 137 in a sheer gown that still managed to turn heads while following the anti-nudity rules.
The sequined Prada gown gave off the allure of a see-through dress, while staying modest with a satin white halter covering her breasts. She donned a matching headband over her slicked-back hair.

As for the award-winning actress's second style at Palais des Festivals for the Amrum photocall, she opted for a bolder look with a bright yellow kimono coat—which showed off her sculpted legs—from Givenchy's fall collection, paired with a black satin belt.
