The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs continued on Thursday, May 29, with testimony from a woman known as “Mia,” a former employee of the rapper who is using a pseudonym on the stand.
Mia, whose real name is known to the jury and both parties but will not be used in open court, was hired as a personal assistant for Diddy, now 55, in 2009. During her testimony on Wednesday, she alleged that Diddy threw things at her multiple times and sexually assaulted her during her tenure as his employee.
Diddy is currently on trial for sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution and racketeering conspiracy. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied all the allegations against him.
While answering questions from the prosecution, Mia claimed that her duties as Diddy’s assistant included setting up hotel rooms for his alleged “freak offs” and cleaning those rooms when they were finished. She described the “destroyed” rooms after freak offs as a “nightmare,” claiming she saw candle wax, broken glass, “water all over the floor” and “sometimes blood.” (Diddy allegedly told her the blood was menstrual blood.)

According to Mia, it was “standard procedure” for her to clean the rooms before housekeeping arrived so that she could remove any objects a hotel employee might try to take to a media outlet.
As for setup, Mia claimed she would prepare the rooms in advance of Diddy’s arrival with candles, lotions, baby oil and lubricant. She would then stay “on call” in case he needed anything else throughout the night.
Speaking about alleged instances of violence, Mia claimed Diddy once threw a spaghetti bowl at her head because she had tried to leave his presence in order to change her tampon. After he threw the bowl, he allegedly told her to “get the f*** out of his house.”
Mia also shared her accounts of incidents that have already been discussed by other witnesses, including an alleged 2013 attack by Diddy that left Cassie with a cut on her eyebrow that needed stitches. Describing the scene, Mia claimed Cassie, 38, was “gushing blood” and said she “thought [Diddy] was going to kill her.”
When asked how many times she allegedly saw Diddy behave violently with Cassie, Mia replied, “All the time. … I don’t have a number.”

Mia went on to describe seeing Cassie during or after freak offs, saying the singer-songwriter once opened the door when Mia came by to deliver something to the room. Cassie seemed to be “struggling,” Mia claimed, which prompted her to ask whether she was OK.
On another occasion, Cassie seemed “really nervous” while telling Mia that Diddy wanted to have a “hotel night,” which Mia said was another term for freak offs. According to Mia, Cassie was so upset by the idea that she fell ill with stomach issues.
Mia further claimed she “wasn’t allowed” to leave Diddy’s side without his permission and couldn’t lock her bedroom door if she was staying with him. She said she once left his home after 2 a.m. while he was sleeping but later received a phone call from his security staff, who had allegedly been ordered to find her.
Elsewhere in her testimony, Mia alleged she was kept awake for five days straight while working for Diddy. “[I had] a physical breakdown,” she recalled. “My hearing was off, like I was underwater.”
At one point, she started crying, and Diddy allegedly told her she could go to sleep. She said working for him entailed anticipating his “needs, whims and moods.”

Mia’s allegations were outlined in the government’s September 2024 indictment against Diddy last year. In the document, she was referred to as “Victim-4.”
Diddy’s legal team subsequently denied all of the allegations in the indictment. “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” his attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
