Walt Disney World fans have been anxiously awaiting more information about Disney Starlight, the park's newest nighttime parade set to debut at Magic Kingdom this summer.
Now, we finally have the details we've been waiting for. It's official: Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away opens on July 20, 2025!
The big news arrived this week, when Disney finally revealed more about what fans can expect when the sparkling new floats make their way down Main Street, U.S.A. for the first time.

Since the parade takes place at night, each float is lit up with points of light, referred to as "Blue Fairy magic," as Disney Parks Blog points out. Between the lights, the brand new costumes for Mickey, Minnie, and their friends, and even an original theme song, it sounds like this parade is going to end up being quite a display.
And speaking of Mickey and Minnie, the finale float was also revealed this week, showing the gang on a train surrounded by swirling lights — and with Goofy on the gas, because as we learned from Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, he actually can drive a train (well, kind of).

Movies that will be represented in the parade include Moana, Coco, Encanto, Wish, and more — and yes, Elsa will be there, because at this point, it wouldn't be Disney without everybody's favorite ice queen.
If you're hoping to check out Disney Starlight as soon as it debuts, you'll want to start strategizing now. Something tells me this is going to be a popular one!
