Rob Thomas had some exciting news to share with his fans this week.
The Matchbox Twenty frontman pleasantly surprised his followers on Tuesday, May 6 while announcing via social media that he is not only releasing a brand-new album, but he's also headed on tour.

Sharing the news via Instagram, Thomas, 53, shared the list of cities and dates for the 25-date tour, which he said will feature songs from his forthcoming new album, All Night Days, releasing this summer.
He also promised to play of all his solo tracks, plus the "Matchbox Twenty songs that you all know and love."

The tour will kick off in August and wrap up in early September. The "Unwell" singer will be making stops in a number of cities all across the U.S., including shows in Los Angeles, Calif., Denver, Colo., New York, NY, Atlanta, Ga., and many, many more.
It's safe to say fans were overjoyed by the unexpected announcement, with users on Instagram leaving comments like "can't wait" and "WE ARE SO BACK!"
"Wonderful news to start a Tuesday," another user added.
"Let’s goooooo!!!" one hyped-up fan chimed in, while someone else said the announcement from Thomas is "just what we need this summer!!!"
