An argument Thursday between acquaintances in the East Village led to an alleged assault, San Diego police said.
The victim, 55, was arguing with a woman around 11:35 a.m. at 17th and K streets when she got in the passenger side of his Honda Pilot and began rummaging through the glove compartment, police said.
The man left the driver’s seat, exited the vehicle and attempted to physically remove thewoman from the vehicle. Police said she then physically assaulted him and drove away in his black 2019 Pilot.
The Honda has a California disabled license plate, DP048UG.
The suspect was described as a Black female adult, 5’4″ tall, heavyset and wearing a black shirt and black leggings. Robbery detectives responded and are handling the investigation.
