Tom Brady widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, was officially inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame. This honor comes as no surprise to fans and analysts alike, as Brady's contributions to the team over his 20-year career were nothing short of legendary.
During his time with the Patriots, Brady led the team to six Super Bowl victories and numerous division titles. His leadership on and off the field set a standard for excellence that will be remembered for years to come. His work ethic and dedication to his craft served as an inspiration to teammates and fans alike.
Tom Brady brought the New England Patriots endless memories and six Super Bowl trophies during his two-decade run with the team.
The Patriots made sure his induction into the franchise's Hall of Fame was a celebration unlike it had ever thrown before.
As he was inducted into the Patriots’ Hall of Fame and had his jersey retired Wednesday night in New England, Brady addressed Belichick and said he couldn’t have had the same level of success with any other coach.
“To Coach Belichick, thank you for your tireless commitment to develop and push me to be my very best. It wasn’t me, it wasn’t you, it was us,” Brady said. “Our hard work, our love of the game, and the way we worked for one another, that’s what it was all about. Let me make this crystal clear: There is no coach in the world I would rather play for than Bill Belichick.”
Brady’s unprecedented 20-year run with the organization, in which he won six Super Bowl titles and 17 division championships, was celebrated in front of over 60,000 fans at Gillette Stadium Wednesday night.
That included musical performances from Jay-Z and Kenny Chesney, while more than 100 former teammates, longtime rival Peyton Manning, and head coach Bill Belichick all made appearances.
Brady would win his seventh Super Bowl title with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021 and retired in 2023 with almost every passing record, including regular season passing yards (89,214) and passing touchdowns (649). He has also amassed the most wins of any player in NFL history (251).
