Andriy Lunin, a talented young goalkeeper, has recently received an offer from Arsenal, one of the top football clubs in the English Premier League. Lunin's impressive performance as a two-time UEFA Champions League winner has caught the attention of many clubs around Europe, including Arsenal.
At just 22 years old, Lunin has already achieved great success in his career. His ability to perform under pressure and make crucial saves has earned him a reputation as one of the most promising goalkeepers in the world. With his experience playing at the highest level of club football, Lunin would be a valuable addition to any team looking to strengthen their defense.
Arsenal are reportedly in the market for a central midfielder and a forward, with the likes of Aston Villa's Douglas Luiz and Newcastle United's Alexander Isak linked with a move to the Emirates.
And it appears the club are also looking to recruit another goalkeeper, having snapped up David Raya on an initial loan deal last summer, with an option to buy him on a permanent deal for £27 million.
The 25-year-old made 31 appearances last term. Courtois started in the Champions League final over him as he was dealing with an illness.
The shot-stopper reportedly has a cold relationship with Ancelotti and does not believe he trusts him to be a regular starter in future.
He has a year left on his contract and has received a proposal to keep him until June 2029.
Thus, Lunin has a tricky decision to make this summer. Does he remain in the Spanish capital and serve as Courtois' deputy, or does he opt for pastures new in a bid to earn regular starts? Arsenal, of course, are unlikely to provide Lunin with what he desires given Raya's fine debut season.
Nevertheless, according to Cadena Cope, the Ukrainian international has received an offer from the Gunners and is mulling over his future. Madrid are set to offer Lunin a long-term extension.
