Disneyland is known for its themed rides, dazzling parades, character meet-and-greets and must-have souvenirs — but its food has become just as iconic.
Over the years, the park has continuously leveled up its culinary offerings, and its latest release is stirring up serious debate online.
On Tuesday, June 3, Disneyland debuted a brand-new Buffalo Chicken Beignet Slider at the Royal Street Veranda — and yes, it uses the park’s signature sweet beignets as the bun.
The sandwich features crispy fried chicken tossed in buffalo sauce, topped with creamy coleslaw, all sandwiched between two powdered sugar-covered, Mickey-shaped beignets. One slider will set you back $11.49.

Fans quickly made their way to the park to get a bite, and reactions have been mixed. On TikTok, creator Juliet Nuzzo gave the sandwich high marks.
“10 out of 10, this was messy as hell but I would get it again for sure,” she wrote in her caption.
In the video, she’s seen digging into the slider and warning viewers, “Do not order this one if you’re on a first, or second, or third date at Disneyland — but this is delicious.”

Some users in the comments agreed, saying things like, “OH MY now I’m intrigued,” and “I’ve never wanted a snack so bad.”
But not everyone was impressed. Several people called out the coleslaw as a dealbreaker.“I had it, wasn’t all that impressed. Which is sad because I felt like it was a good idea,” one commenter wrote.
While opinions are split, one thing’s for sure — the buzz around this new item is real.
It’s unclear if the Buffalo Chicken Beignet Slider is a limited-time offering, but if you're heading to the park soon, it might be worth a taste.
