Country musician Lee Greenwood left fans with goosebumps after a recent performance.

On Tuesday, June 3, Kid Rock unveiled his latest venture, The Detroit Cowboy, in Nashville, Tennessee. The restaurant grand opening was marked by a performance from Greenwood, 88, who delivered his iconic 1984 song “God Bless the U.S.A.,” stirring patriotic sentiments among attendees.

    In social media footage from the event, the country crooner can be seen sitting at a piano with a microphone, before standing to his feet to sing along with the enthusiastic crowd.

    "Yes stand up God Bless The USA," one wrote in the comment section of a TikTok clip, while another exclaimed, "This is how this song SHOULD be sang!! GOD BLESS THE USA!!"

    Others left notes about how emotional the tune made them. "The chills you get when hearing this song is how you truly know that you are free," a third remarked, with a separate person agreeing, "This?? gave me chills I’am proud to be an American."

    Two more comments read, "This song brings tears to my eyes" and "Love this song," while someone else simply dubbed Greenwood a "True patriot ✊??."

    After the event, the "I.O.U." singer took to X (formerly Twitter) with a photo of himself and his wife, Kimberly Payne, posing alongside the "All Summer Long" musician.

The eatery reportedly showcases memorabilia from music legends like Johnny Cash, Motown, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Aretha Franklin, and Eminem throughout, reflecting Kid Rock’s wide-ranging musical influences.
