Reports from Germany suggest that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is very interested in signing Mathys Tel permanently after his impressive performances on loan from Bayern Munich.
22-year-old Man City playmaker James McAtee is another player on their radar but they are thought to face significant competition from other Premier League clubs.
Levy could deal in the French market as Lyon winger Rayan Cherki and Lille midfielder Angel Gomes have also been linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Manor Solomon is expected to leave Spurs this summer and Leeds United are exploring a permanent transfer after he helped them win promotion during a brilliant loan spell.
