Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are gearing up for a holiday season filled with a lot of football.Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, will be playing on both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, as announced by the NFL on Thursday, May 15. This means the tight end and perhaps his pop star girlfriend’s holiday season will take place on the field.
The NFL confirmed that the Chiefs will head to Dallas for a Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Cowboys, set to kick off at 4:30 pm E.T. on CBS. The team didn’t miss a chance to have some fun with the announcement, trolling the Cowboys by sharing a picture of Post Malone, a noted Cowboys fan and Swift collaborator, wearing a Chiefs jersey. “See you guys at Thanksgiving! ?” the team wrote on X.

The game will air at 8:15 om E.T. on Prime Video. “Let’s make this the loudest silent night of all time ?,” the Chiefs teased in another post on the platform a few days before.
But before the holidays, the 35-year-old and the Chiefs will take their game internationally, traveling to São Paulo, Brazil, to play the Los Angeles Chargers on September 5. Kelce is seemingly less than thrilled about the prospect of playing in the sweltering heat. On the Wednesday, May 14 episode of his New Heights podcast, he joked to his brother Jason Kelce about the uncomfortable conditions, saying, “I’ll be playing football in the f***ing heat,” and admitted he was dreading the humidity. “There’s just something about getting close to the equator, I don’t want to put on a football uniform doing that.”
Swift, 35, supported her boyfriend at the Chiefs’ Thanksgiving game against the Las Vegas Raiders last year, however, she wasn’t present when Kelce played the Steelers on Christmas Day. While the 14-time Grammy winner has yet to confirm her attendance, Swifties are crossing their fingers she’ll make an appearance.
