Dave Grohl has another confession to make: he and the Foo Fighters are back!
On May 13, the rock legends announced their first show of 2025. The band—known for hits like "Everlong," "Times Like These," and Best Of You"—will play the Singapore Grand Prix, the Formula 1 racing event taking place from Oct. 3-5.
The Foo Fighters will play Oct. 4. They join a packed lineup that includes fellow alternative icons Smashing Pumpkins, metal superstars Babymetal, '80s rock legends Crowded House, and Elton John.
Unless the band plays another date before then, this will be the Foo Fighters' first show of the year, and the first since Dave went public with the news that he fathered a child out of wedlock.

In September 2024, Dave revealed he'd recently welcomed "a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage" to longtime wife, Jordyn Blum. At the time of the announcement, his band had just wrapped up their Everything Or Nothing At All tour with their last proper gig on Aug. 18.
Foo Fighters did play a private event at Anaheim's House of Blues on Sept. 6. Then, Dave made his announcement, and the band pulled out of the 2024 Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Conn.
In his confession, Dave said he planned to be a "loving and supportive parent" to his new child while also working on regaining his family's trust and earning "their forgiveness."
Dave and Jordyn have three daughters: Violet, 19, Harper, 16, and 10-year-old Ophelia. Following her father's shocking confession, Violet and Harper deactivated their social media accounts (though both have since revived them).
Though the Foo Fighters haven't played since the drama, Dave has made a handful of public performances. In January, he reunited with the other surviving members of Nirvana to play FireAid, benefiting victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. St. Vincent, Joan Jett, Kim Gordon and Violet Grohl sang with the band.
Dave also played with Post Malone on Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary show in February and teamed with the LA Philharmonic in April to perform two Foo Fighters songs.
