Who Was Eliminated on RuPauls Drag Race All Stars Season 10 Episode 3 This Week?

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars is back again. And for Season 10, the franchise brought back 18 former contestants to compete for the crown. However, only two weeks into the new season, three beloved queens have already sashayed away. That's because while the drag queens in the Werk Room may be familiar faces, the format for All Stars Season 10 is brand new (and more than a little confusing TBH). Here's a quick overview in case you need a refresher:

    Qualifying Rounds:

The 18 queens are divided into three brackets, with six queens in each. The top three queens in each bracket will move onto the semi-finals.Each bracket will compete in three maxi-challenges over the course of three episodes. The top two queens each episode will each earn 2pts. The top two queens each episode will lip sync against one another for an additional 1pt. Each episode, the four losing queens will each be given 1pt that they will have to bestow upon the "Most Valuable Queen" of the week, which can include the other winners or the top two.At the end of each bracket, the three queens with the most points will move on, while the bottom three will be eliminated. (The end of Episode 3 concluded Bracket 1, so three queens have been eliminated and six more queens from Bracket 2 will begin next week.)

    Semi-Finals:

It's a bit unclear what the exact format of the semi-finals will be, but the nine remaining queens will return to compete in two additional episodes. Over the course of two episodes, the remaining nine queens will somehow be whittled down to a smaller group who will progress to the finals.

    Finals:

Again, the details are a bit murky here, but whichever queens (most likely 3-5 of them) will return for the finale to face off in the Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown. However, an added wrinkle was added to the mix. Of the 9 queens who lose their brackets, each of the regular judges (Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews and Ts Madison) will each select one eliminated queen to return. From that list, one name will be drawn at random and that queen will also be added into the final Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown. The winner will receive a cash prize of $200,000 and a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

Did you follow all of that? No? Well we'll figure it out as we go along. The two-part premiere got us through most of Bracket 1, with Aja, DeJa Skye, Irene the Alien, Phoenix, Olivia Lux and Bosco competing for the first three spots in the semi-finals. They competed in two maxi-challenges, and a grand total of 14 points was awarded. This week in Episode 3, the remaining 13 points were passed out, three queens advanced and three were sent packing.

Here's everything you need to know about what happened in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 10 Episode 3:

Who was eliminated on Episode 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 10?

    Deja Skye

    Paramount+

    DeJa Skye

While it did come down to the wire (and it looked for a second that DeJa could be the third queen to move onto the semi-finals), ultimately she fell one point short of the goal. Ultimately this wasn't too surprising given that DeJa wasn't in the top two of any of the three challenges during Bracket 1 although I'd argue she should have been in the top last week during the murder mystery improv sketch.

    Olivia Lux

    Paramount+

    Olivia Lux

Olivia Lux also was one point of shy making the semi-finals and should Phoenix have bestowed her point to the musical queen, Miss Lux would have taken Aja's spot. Unfortunately Olivia also never managed to make the top two during the first three episodes and her strategy to be a bit more cutthroat didn't pan out when a full 12 points were just being passed out to friends.

    Phoenix

    Paramount+

    Phoenix

Phoenix ended Bracket 1 with a single point, which is annoying on multiple fronts, but mostly because Phoenix is very talented and a legend in the Atlanta drag scene. She definitely deserved better and it's frustrating to see queer icons paid dirt on the show because they aren't quite able to master the reality TV aspect of it all. Ultimately Phoenix got to be the kingmaker though, sending Aja through to the semi-finals over Deja and Olivia.

Who won Bracket 1 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 10?

    Irene the Alien

    Paramount+

    Irene the Alien

Objectively Irene the Alien DESTROYED this bracket. Not only did she finish with the most points, but she earned all seven of hers, finishing in the top two in all three challenges. It really makes you wonder if she could have won her original season should she not have tried to pour a glass of water as her talent show talent.

    Bosco

    Paramount+

    Bosco

As the only finalist in Bracket 1, it seemed obvious from the jump that Bosco would be moving on to the semi-finals. She was in the top two twice with Irene and won one lip sync so her spot in the semis is well deserved.

    Aja

    Paramount+

    Aja

After a strong first week, Aja didn't make the top two again and got shafted a bit in the bestowed points because she was in the lead. However, both Phoenix and Olivia awarded her a point at the last minute, bumping her up into the semis.

Who won Episode 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 10?

    Irene the Alien

    Paramount+

    Irene the Alien

Third times the charm for Irene the Alien. After losing both of her first two lip syncs, she finally pulled it out to earn the extra point and win the bracket headed into the semi-finals. While we won't see Irene back on our screens for 7 weeks, she is the frontrunner headed into the semi-finals and I'm having a hard time imagining another queen in Brackets 2 or 3 claiming a better record.

Between the bonus points from Episode 2 and all nine awarded points from Episode 3, a lot of points were passed out this week. Here's who earned what.

    Irene the Alien: 3ptsDeJa Skye: 3ptsOlivia Lux: 3ptsAja: 2ptsBosco: 2ptsPhoenix: 0pts

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 10 Bracket 1 Scoreboard

After three episodes, the All Stars 10 final leaderboard for Bracket 3 stands as follows:

    Irene the Alien: 7ptsBosco: 6ptsAja: 5ptsDeJa Skye: 4ptOlivia Lux: 4ptPhoenix: 1pt

What is the wild card lottery twist on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 10?

At the end of Episode 3, RuPaul announced a wild card lottery for the Season 10 finale. While the finale logistics remain a bit dubious, each of the regular judges on this season will select one queen they'd like to send to the finale. A random draw will then put one of those four queens into the final lip sync against whoever remains post-semi-finals.
