The Edmonton Oilers didn’t let a heartbreaking Game 3 ending discourage them.
After giving up the deciding goal with 0.4 seconds left last time out, the Oilers bounced back with a 3-0 win over the visiting Vegas Golden Knights on Monday to take a 3-1 lead in their second-round series.
Edmonton will have a chance to wrap it up Wednesday in Vegas.
Adam Henrique opened the scoring just 1:27 into Game 4. The native of Brantford, Ont., then doubled the lead at 13:03 of the first.
Evander Kane made it 3-0 midway through the second.
Oilers goalie Stuart Skinner registered the shutout in his second game back in net after an injury knocked out Calvin Pickard.
