A suspect and and Aurora Police Department officer were injured in an Aurora police shooting in a parking lot near Denver International Airport on Monday night, officials said.

The person shot by police and one officer were taken to the hospital. The officer had minor injuries, and Aurora police did not say the condition of the person who was shot.
The area is just north of Denver’s Green Valley Ranch neighborhood and near a privately owned parking lot for the airport.
