DENVER (KDVR) — Two people died following an early morning residential fire in Denver's Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood.
Just before 5 a.m. on Wednesday, the Denver Fire Department posted on X that crews were responding to a residential structure fire at Dakota Avenue and Niagara Street. The area is just east of Glendale.
When crews arrived, they said there was heavy smoke inside the building. Firefighters were able to put water on the fire and hit any hot spots.
