In a clip from the live, via @HARDWHlTE on X, Lizzo began by saying she was "starstuck" seeing Minaj, noting that she thought, "Should I go talk to her?...F--k, is she leaving? I might just go run up to her."
She said she did just that, telling Minaj, "You looked beautiful tonight," with Minaj replying, "You look beautiful tonight too, baby." The two bid farewell as the night came to an end, with Minaj getting in a car to leave the Met Gala.
Lizzo then shared a bold statement about Minaj, raving about her beauty as she declared, "She has the most insane face card. It's crazy. And the prettiest skin."
