But after a long cold winter your lawn may be in need of a little love.

Look no further than Lidl‘s Parkside Electric Lawnmower – hitting the middle aisle for just £49.99.

The savvy lawnmower is a budget friendly alternative to the Bosch EasyRotak 32-225, which sells for a whopping £113.

While Bosch’s version is well-known for its durability and reliability, Lidl’s Parkside model certainly gives it a run for its money.

Both models boast a 1,200W motor, meaning they pack just as much punch when it comes to tackling thatch and moss build-up.

The Lidl lawnmower has an impressive cutting width of 12 inches, helping you cover as much ground as possible.

The mower has three cutting heights – 20, 40 and 60mm – so you can choose exactly how you want your lawn to look.

It’s also easy to use with its smooth-rolling wheels with grass friendly tread, height adjustable bar with soft grip and easily removable 30L grass collection box.

And what’s more – it offers a three-year warranty, which is one year more than Bosch’s standard offer.

The Parkside Electric Lawnmower will be available in store from April 24.

And Lidl’s mower isn’t just cheaper than Bosch – it undercuts other big brands too.

The Einhell Electric Scarifier and Aerator GC-SA 1231/1 is priced at £99.95 on Tooled Up, while the VonHaus 2-in-1 Lawn Scarifier & Aerator retails online for £114.99.

But the mower isn’t the only summer essential you’ll find in Lidl’s middle aisle.

Shoppers can also get their hands on a fire pit that’s perfect for the garden – and it’s 60 per cent cheaper than rival versions.

The Tepro Fire Pit, on sale for just £19.99, is billed as the perfect way to “create a cosy atmosphere in your garden”.

The steel pit has a modern, square design – and heat-resistant coating for optimal safety.

It also comes with a poker to keep those embers burning for as long as possible.

Meanwhile, Argos is selling a similar product, the Argos Home Foldable Firepit.

While this is a more expensive option – coming in at £50 – it does come with some added features.

These include a handy a mesh safety lid and a grill that transforms the fire pit into a BBQ that’s perfect for hosting.

You can find your local Lidl store using the store locator on Lidl’s website.

But remember – it’s always important to compare different options on the market, to make sure you’re getting the best value for money.
