The incident occurred in the clash between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars when Ubaid Shah’s wild celebration after taking a wicket took a drastic turn. MS won the match by 33 runs and Shah finished with figures of 3/37.

The incident occurred in the 15th over of MS vs LQ tie. Ubaid, who was bowling to Sam Billings, managed to get the batter out thanks to a stunning catch by Kamran Ghulam. Following the dismissal, Shah decided to celebrate in a wild fashion. Instead of the usual high-five to the keeper, the bowler ended up punching Usman Khan, who immediately went down.

Sikandar Raza’s fighting half-century did not do the job for LHQ as Sultans kept striking at regular intervals. Eventually, Lahore managed to reach 195/9 at the end of the run-chase, handing MS a comprehensive win.
