John Stamos turned up in a surprise Easter photo posted on Instagram by onetime All My Children actress Beth Stern, who’s best known now these days as an animal advocate and the wife of Sirius/XM radio personality Howard Stern.
In the photo, Stamos wearing shades, a Hawaiian shirt and white pants, is smiling brightly and holding an holiday-appropriate bunny. “Happy Easter!! You’re welcome. ?? @johnstamos and Stephen Heavensent Stern♥️,” Beth Stern wrote in the caption.
Fans loved the pic, with Howard Stern supe rfan and show regular Mariann from Brooklyn writing, “Have mercy and thank you ?????,” while another fan referred to Stamos by his character name on Full House writing, “Is this who we think it is?UNCLE JESSEEEEEEE?❤️❤️.”
Another fan even with further back in her Stamos fandom, writing, “Uncle Jesse?? Any REALLY old folks around like me who remember him as Blackie on General Hospital??”
Still another person imagined what it would be like to hang with Stamos at the Stern home, posting, “Gosh how I want to be at your house for Easter Sunday dinner❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
In the past, Beth Stern has appeared on her husband’s radio show to speak out against people giving rabbits as gifts for Easter because often they don’t realize how much work is required to care for the animals and they end up being sent to shelters or abandoned.
Stamos has also appeared on Stern’s show in the past. Beth Stern appeared on All My Children as a waitress in 2002, while Stamos also has a history on soap, as fans noted in the comments of Beth Stern’s Easter photo. His first major role was playing Blackie Parrish on General Hospital in the early ‘80s.
