Kate Hudson Being Called the New Sharon Stone After Epic Transformation Video

Kate Hudson channeled her inner Samantha Jones in a recent video — and fans couldn't get enough.

On Wednesday, April 9, the 45-year-old actress shared a TikTok of herself lip-syncing to a classic Sex and the City soundbite featuring Kim Cattrall's iconic character saying "Hello? Who is this?"

In the short video, Hudson pretended to answer a phone while wearing a fluffy white bathrobe before covering the camera with her hand and pulling it away again to reveal her red carpet look: a floor-length white gown with a sweetheart neckline and large bows on the shoulders.

According to Page Six, the dress was from Harbison Studio, and Hudson wore it to the 2025 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards.

Hudson's fans gushed over her glamorous look.

"Samantha Jones would've loved this transition," one person wrote.

"Kate Hudson is the new Sharon Stone," someone else declared, with another commenter calling Hudson "literally a goddess."

"Imagine being a forever baddie," somebody joked.

While Hudson clearly has no hesitation about wearing white on the red carpet, that doesn't mean she's ready to walk down the aisle in a wedding dress anytime soon.

Even though she's been engaged to Danny Fujikawa since 2021, she explained on an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show in March that she's in no hurry to make things official.

"I just don't have the same kind of like, 'Oh my God, I'm going to get married, and I can't wait and I can't wait for the party.' It's the opposite. I'm like, ‘Okay, I have to plan it and then it's going to cost so much money’ and it's just a lot,” she said.

"I like the idea of being engaged forever," Hudson continued. "The contractual thing is tough for me. I like my freedom...I like the concept of freedom."

Hudson and Fujikawa started dating in 2016 and welcomed their daughter, Rani Rose, in 2018. Hudson also shares son Ryder Robinson with ex-husband Chris Robinson, singer for The Black Crowes, and son Bingham Bellamy with ex Matt Bellamy, Muse singer.
