Fans best know Ally Sheedy from her starring in iconic 1980s movies like The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire, and WarGames.
While Sheedy has continued to act, most recently appearing in an episode of The CW’s Wild Cards, she looks a little different than she did during her Brat Pack days.

On April 1, Sheedy was photographed out and about in New York City, wearing an all-black outfit with a large, knee-length gray overcoat. She pushed her shoulder-length auburn hair off of her face with a pair of black sunglasses and slung a black purse over one shoulder.

In 2022, Sheedy told Vanity Fair that, in addition to her on-screen performances, she was working as a theater teacher at City College of New York.
Sheedy spoke candidly about her decision to leave Hollywood, prompted in part by the birth of her son Beckett in 1994. “I remember thinking, I’m really tired of thinking about myself all the time. I need my life to be about something else. And someone else,” Sheedy said.
“My 20s were maybe not like other people’s 20s, but [also] kind of not that different,” she told the outlet. “Movies and working in film and TV and all that—it was this all-consuming love affair in my 20s.”
