Shooting at Aurora restaurant injures employee, suspect on the run

DENVER (KDVR) — Police are investigating a shooting at an Aurora restaurant that injured an employee.

On Sunday at 9:30 p.m., Aurora police were called to a shooting at the Panda Buffet restaurant in the Cross Wind shopping center in the 12000 block of East Mississippi Avenue. The area is in the Aurora Hills neighborhood.

    According to the restaurant's listing on Google, they had just closed for the night when the shooting occurred.

    Police located an adult man who was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was reportedly an employee at the restaurant. No one else was injured, according to police.

    The investigation is in the beginning stages, so very few details have been made available. However, officers said they are looking for one suspect who reportedly fled the scene.
