Popular cookie brand Chips Ahoy! is skipping spring and going right to summer with its newest release, with its limited edition Chewy Ice Cream Sandwich-Inspired Cookies hitting shelves at Walmart.
The official product description on Walmart's website says, "Experience a summertime twist on your classic Chips Ahoy! Chewy cookie, now filled with a delicious vanilla creme center. Cool off with a chilled cookie inspired by the nostalgic flavor of a classic ice cream sandwich." It goes on, describing them as "Ideal for any occasion – from beach day lunches to coffee breaks to dessert tables."

Food influencer Snack Betch shared news of the release with their followers, asking, "Which ones are you most excited for?" Also featured in the post were Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake Cookies, Good Humor Creamsicle Cookies, Quaker Chewy Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough Granola Bars and M&M's White Chocolate Marshmallow Crispy.
