Suns have the NBA’s 8th-easiest schedule in February

With more than half of the NBA regular season completed, the Phoenix Suns are attempting to climb out of the play-in group of the Western Conference standings.

Phoenix enters Friday night’s contest against the Warriors sitting ninth in the Western Conference at a 25-22 record.

That could be tough. According to ESPN analytics, Phoenix has the toughest remaining schedule in the NBA.

There is some good news: Whether they make a trade at the Feb. 6 deadline or not — and before things get very tough — they can take advantage of the eighth-easiest schedule in February by opponent record, as compiled by NBA.com’s John Schuhmann.

The Suns have a relatively easy schedule regarding the opponents, but they’re one of two teams with five back-to-backs and have a league-high four rest-disadvantage games in February. They currently have the league’s biggest differential between their record with rest (22-16, .579) and their record in the second games of back-to-backs (2-6, .250).
