The Arizona Diamondbacks placed reliever Kendall Graveman on the 15-day injured list with right him impingement, the team announced Monday.
The move is retroactive to Sunday.
Additionally, the team recalled reliever Christian Montes De Oca from the Triple-A Reno Aces.
Graveman last appeared for the Diamondbacks in Saturday’s 13-1 loss to the Cincinnati Reds. Getting the ball in the fourth inning, he allowed six earned runs on five hits and two walks. It took him 33 pitches to get out of the frame.
Across nine games with Arizona this year (8.1 innings pitched), Graveman sports an 8.64 ERA with a 2.280 WHIP. He’s struck out three and walked five.

Diamondbacks recall young reliever Christian Montes De Oca
Montes De Oca was recently called up and designated as Arizona’s 27th man amid Saturday’s double header.
The young reliever went 2.2 innings in his lone MLB appearance on Saturday. He faced nine batters and registered one walk and two strikeouts.
He was sent down to Reno on Sunday.
D-backs look to end three-game skid
The D-backs enter Monday’s home game against the Seattle Mariners at 31-34 after getting swept by Cincinnati.
Entering play this week, Arizona sits fourth in the NL West and is six games back from the final Wild Card spot.
