SIMONE Biles’ husband and NFL defender Jonathan Owens was caught in a live TV blunder during the Chicago Bears’ victory over the Green Bay Packers.
The sequence involving the husband of the superstar gymnast occurred in the Week 18 regular-season finale game in the Packers‘ Lambeau Field.
At the end of the first quarter, the Bears safety Owens recovered a fumble from Packers’ Jayden Reed.
After the play, the 29-year-old ran into the endzone to celebrate.
Owens attempted to leap into the stands, known as the Lambeau Leap, despite the fact he didn’t record a touchdown.
Unfortunately, he slipped and fell during the attempt and couldn’t make his way into the stands.
The moment caused Fox NFL commentator Kevin Kugler to comment on the error made by Owens.
“The former Packer who’s married to one of the greatest leapers of all time in Simone Biles, who had to be shaking her head when she saw that,” Kugler said.
Fortunately, Owens didn’t get hurt from the fall.

Biles attended to watch the game in frigid conditions.
The seven-time gold medalist was spotted kissing Owens on the sidelines before the contest.
She managed to see the Bears upset the Packers with a 24-22 win.
Owens played in his first season with the Bears.
He had played with the Packers last year.
Biles and Owens married in 2023.
She has appeared at numerous Bears this season.
While Biles competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Owens was granted permission to appear at the competitions during the Bears’ training camp.
