An explosion occurred inside a prison of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) on the road between Qamishli and al-Qahtaniya in northern al-Hasakah province. Reports indicated that the explosion was due to a Turkish airstrike targeting a vehicle inside the prison. Enab Baladi’s correspondent in al-Hasakah reported that an explosion took place today, Tuesday, September 3, inside a prison affiliated with Asayish in the town of Umm al-Fursan, east of Qamishli, with the cause yet unknown. On its part, Hawar news agency, close to the Autonomous Administration, stated that the explosion resulted from targeting a car inside the walls
