World Travel and Tourism Council report: Chinese consumers spend the most on travel
Travelers from mainland China spent the most on shopping compared to other nationalities, at $1,350 per person on average, according to a newly launched report by the World Travel and Tourism Council. With the Chinese borders opening up post-COVID this year, retailers worldwide will be able to see an uptick from inbound Chinese tourism.
