The Stone Shelter at City Park has been vandalized. On Thursday at 7:33 a.m., Bowling Green police responded to the Masonic Stone Shelter for a call of criminal damaging. A city employee told the officer that sometime between 4-5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday morning subjects smeared gum all over the ground and were drinking cans of Four Loko alcohol that she had cleaned up already. According to the Bowling Green Police Division report, two picnic tables had words carved into them. Sunscreen was used to write on the concrete ledge and on a picnic table.
