ROCHESTER, N.Y. – It’s a stunning Sunday today with temperatures maxing out in the low 80s, calm winds, and dew points at very comfortable levels. The only concern today is the UV index which is at an 8; might want to put on sunscreen if you’ll be outside for a while. Other than that, get outside and enjoy the rest of today!
Heat and humidity returns tomorrow with highs in the low 90s and dew points getting near 70 degrees Heat index will be near 95 degrees. Some pop up thundershowers are possible later in the day, with increasing cloudiness as the day goes on. Widely scattered showers overnight into Tuesday with more chances for thunder in the afternoon.
Wednesday through Friday dew points take a nosedive to comfortable and even dry levels. Mostly dry weather expected except for possible isolated showers and thunder Thursday, but the 4th of July is looking excellent so far. Make sure to check back in to see how the forecast develops. Saturday starts good but rain chances go up later in the day and rain is likely Sunday.
