Thomas Davis Jr. is sticking with Notre Dame.
Davis told Hayes Fawcett of On3 that he has shut down his recruitment.
Davis, the son of former Georgia All-American and NFL All-Pro Thomas Davis, committed to Notre Dame on Nov. 12. He made headlines when taking an official visit to UGA on May 30. A visit to South Bend followed 2 weeks later, and he has decided to stick with his commitment and not consider other options.

Out of Matthews (North Carolina) Weddington High School, Davis is listed as measuring 6-2 and 205 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Davis is rated 4-stars, the No. 10 linebacker, No. 11 player in the state of North Carolina and No. 193 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.
Marcus Freeman and Kirby Smart weren’t the only coaches interested in Davis. The talented linebacker picked up scholarship offers from 33 programs, including Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Miami, Mississippi State, Michigan, Mizzou, NC State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, South Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
With Davis in the fold, Notre Dame has 16 verbal commitments in its 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 5 nationally on the Composite.
