Bethenny Frankel isn't letting the haters slow her down. After strutting down the catwalk during Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's Swim Week in Miami, Frankel is shutting down the critics.
The former Real Housewives of New York City star, 54, may have looked stunning at the event, but that didn't stop commenters from picking apart her appearance — and her choice to wear a very revealing bikini.
"So I guess we have to discuss what I looked like on that runway because the internet is so fascinated with my age, my weight, my face, my hair," she said in an Instagram video.
Frankel went on to seemly address comments that she looked very different than her day-to-day appearance on social media.
"Listen, I can tell you with great certainty that every woman that was with me on that stage did not look that way two hours prior," she explained, noting that the videos the public saw involved "a lot of glam, a lot of contouring and a lot of lighting."
She added that she definitely doesn't look like that all the time, admitting that she typically prefers not to wear makeup and often looks like a "train wreck" in her daily life. She added that she didn't do any crash dieting for the runway show and advocates for having a good balance between working out and eating healthy.
"I want you to allow yourselves to have, but not beat yourselves up when you do indulge," Frankel said. "And I want you to have a good relationship with food and exercise and that doesn’t mean being screamed at in a gym or beating yourself up and telling yourself that you have to kill yourself. You don't. It's healthier to just be healthy."

As for those who were concerned about how her 15-year-old daughter Bryn reacted to her mom wearing such a revealing bikini, Frankel says she was nothing but supportive. While the teenager wasn't able to be there to see the show in person, Frankel says Bryn immediately called to congratulate her.
"Peanut just FaceTimed me and she said, 'Mama, I saw you! You did so good...you have such a cute tush, mama.' And she said, 'You look like you were 30-years-old!' It was so sweet," Frankel said in another Instagram video.
Frankel added that she wished Bryn could have been there because of how body positive all the models were — and hopes that she can walk the runway with her next time!
