Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani looked absolutely devastated after Trent Boult dropped Nehal Wadhera during the ongoing IPL 2025 Qualifier 2 against Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Asked to bat first, Mumbai Indians posted a competitive total of 203/6 in the allotted 20 overs. While Rohit Sharma failed to get going, the other Mumbai Indians batsmen made crucial contributions to power their team to a 200-plus total.

In-form Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma top-scored for the five-time champions with both of them scoring 44 runs each. Jonny Bairstow impressed with the bat once again by scoring 38 runs while Naman Dhir played a quickfire knock of 37 runs from 18 balls to help his side cross the 200-run mark.
With the ball, Mumbai Indians started well. Trent Boult gave Mumbai the first breakthrough by dismissing Prabhsimran Singh in the third over courtesy a brilliant running catch from England's Reece Topley. However, Punjab Kings quickly recovered and also got the momentum on their side after Josh Inglis hit Jasprit Bumrah for 20 runs in the 5th over.
The advantage, however, did not last long as Ashwani Kumar dismissed Priyansh Arya in the sixth over before Hardik Pandya dismissed Inglis in the 8th over to reduce Punjab to 72/3.
Shreyas Iyer leads Punjab Kings' fightback
After taking three wickets in quick time, Mumbai Indians had the chance to take the fourth wicket as well but Trent Boult dropped the catch.
It was the final ball of the 10th over with Hardik Pandya bowling to Nehal Wadhera. The Mumbai Indians captain bowled a short ball outside off and Wadhera went for a pull but ended up top-edging the ball towards fine-leg.
It was a regulation catch but Boult somehow failed to hold on to it. As the catch was dropped, the camera turned towards Nita Ambani who looked devastated. Nita Ambani had her palm on her forehead and slumped back in her seat.
