Nipsey Hussle’s legacy continues to grow with the grand opening of a second Marathon Burger location in Venice in late May.
The late rapper’s Marathon brand’s Marathon Burger joint, located at 1827 Ocean Front Walk on the Venice Beach Boardwalk, held its official grand opening on Saturday, May 31. It marks the second location following the opening of Marathon Burger’s flagship restaurant at 7507 Melrose Ave. on the northwest corner of Melrose Avenue and Gardener Street, just a few blocks away from Hussle’s The Marathon, a boutique clothing store launched by the Crenshaw-born artist.
The menu features wagyu smash burgers, wings, fries and milkshakes with popular items that include the s Marathon Burger, made with two wagyu beef patties smashed with grilled onions, served on a toasted brioche bun and topped with Fresno peppers, housemade pickles, American cheese, ketchup, mustard, and Marathon Burger’s secret sauce.
The Grammy winning rapper and entrepreneur died after being shot outside his clothing store, Marathon Clothing Company, in South Los Angeles in 2019.
The new location will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. with a late night delivery option until 3 a.m.
