Nintendo Switch vs Switch Lite – what's the difference?
Here's what you need to know...
The Nintendo Switch Lite doesn’t plug into your television – it’s handheld-only Its Joy-Con controls aren’t detachable, and are built into the handset’s body There’s no TV docking station, so you’ll charge your device using a cable Some games will have restrictions, due to the console being handheld-only There are three new colours: yellow, grey and turquoise The Switch Lite is $100 / £100 cheaper than the Switch properGiven that there will be a limited number of consoles, and likely far too many customers for everyone to have one, pandemonium could like ensue.
Online, gamers are getting ready to go into battle for a Nintendo Switch 2.
On Reddit, one eager gamer asked what the rules of engagement are, but was quickly reminded that in war, there are no rules.
They asked the question in a thread: “Do lines matter? Like I assume not because they have the system reserved in your name but for some reason I’m worried that its not like that, hence why its a dumb question.
“I’ve just been really nervous about my switch 2 cause I’m so excited.”
While some tried to calm them down with the knowledge that there will most likely be lines to wait, some see it unfolding differently.
One person commented: “Most stores should have two lines, at least inside, if not already outside before they let people in.
“One for pre-orders and the other for whatever they may have for walk-in purchases.”
While another saw it going one of two ways: “No lines, just chaos. All customers walking around having no f***ing idea what they’re doing.
“Of course there will be a line lol one for pre orders and one for in store purchase.
“Would be absolutely stupid not to have lines for such a huge release.”
