In a welcome sight for fans, beloved Hollywood brothers Owen and Luke Wilson made a rare joint red carpet appearance on Thursday, May 29. Luke, ever the supportive younger sibling, was on hand to celebrate Owen's latest project, the Apple TV+ series, Stick.
Luke, known for his laid-back charm in films like Old School and Legally Blonde, appeared happy to support his older brother's latest endeavor, a series about a golf pro who mentors a rising talent, which has been called “Ted Lasso meets Happy Gilmore.”
The Wilson brothers' journey from Texas to Tinseltown is a story of shared dreams and parallel paths to stardom. They first broke into the industry together with the quirky, now-iconic film Bottle Rocket, a collaboration with director Wes Anderson, who would also become a frequent creative partner for both.
Past interviews and anecdotes have often highlighted their close connection. Owen has previously spoken about the fun of rooming with Luke while working on projects in the same city, "It was nice that we were both there working on things and you have someone to go to dinner with and watch games with, and argue with. There was a lot of arguing," Owen said.

We're not trying to hijack each other."
