A FORMER Tom Brady teammate has finally called time on his iconic career after a decade in the league.
The 32-year-old New England Patriots legend walks away with two Super Bowl titles.
Center David Andrews was undrafted out of Georgia in 2015.
He earned his place on the Patriots roster and took the team’s starting job.
And Andrews’ career over the last decade has come to an end, it was confirmed Wednesday.
He was informed earlier this year of the Patriots’ decision and admitted he was left a little shocked.
“I’ve been so blessed,” Andrews said.
“I’ve had 10 years and never got fired.
“I was living a pipe dream that I would hopefully make the decision myself.
“There’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and you’re hoping it’s not a train.
“I was hoping it wasn’t a train, and it was a train.”
Andrews finished with $34 million in career earnings from his time in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
He was part of the Patriots team which went to three straight Super Bowls with Brady at quarterback from 2016 to 2018.
The center was part of the lineup when the Patriots came from 28-3 down to stun the Atlanta Falcons at Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas.
His team returned to the big game the following season.
But they were beaten 41-33 by the Philadelphia Eagles in a thriller in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Andrews earned his second ring the following year when New England beat the Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta, Georgia.

The lineman was the last remaining offensive started from that championship team at Super Bowl LIII in 2018.
He suffered some health issues in the years that followed.
Andrews missed the entire 2019 season after blood clots were found in his lungs.
He also missed the end of 2024 after suffering a shoulder injury which needed surgery.
New England are in their first year under new head coach Mike Vrabel in their attempts to rebuild.
