AARON Rodgers’ deadline to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers has been uncovered.
The 41-year-old free-agent NFL star Rodgers has previously admitted to being okay with a one-year, $10 million contract for the upcoming season.
The four-time NFL MVP Rodgers has contemplated his future for the last few months.
And it appears that his decision could be coming shortly.
It was revealed by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that he has until June 10-12 to make his decision.
The Steelers’ mandatory minicamp takes place during those three days, and Rodgers would have to get acclimated with the team.
“I think the Steelers’ mandatory minicamp is next month,” Schefter said earlier this month.
“Forget the exact date, roughly June 10. I would think that we would get a decision from Aaron Rodgers shortly before then about whether or not he should play.
“To me, you can’t miss that mandatory minicamp where you start gearing up. I guess you can, but that’s not ideal.”
However, Rodgers has skipped mandatory minicamp in the past.
Amid Rodgers’ NFL uncertainty, the Steelers still believe that they can reach a deal with him.
President Art Rooney II said at the Annual League Meeting on April 1 that “all signs are positive” he will end up in the black and gold.
Rodgers also turned heads with recent comments at a Q&A event hosted by rapper Mike Stud.
The 20-year NFL veteran revealed a cryptic response when asked if he would ever sign with the Chicago Bears, rivals of his longtime team, the Green Bay Packers.
“No, but I believe there’s a team that might play in Chicago this year on a road trip,” Rodgers said.
“I don’t know, not sure. Got to check it out.
“I love Chicago, though. Way more than they love me.

The Steelers go on the road to face the Bears in Week 12 on November 23.
There will also be seven other teams who will travel to play the Bears this season, but all of them, including the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings, seem to know their plans at the signal-caller spot.
And Rodgers threw cold water playing for the Saints when a fan asked, replying with an instant, “no.”
