Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh lashed out at the Delhi Capitals after they crashed out of the IPL 2025 playoffs. Harbhajan used Mohammad Rizwan's famous WIN-LEARN formula to explain Delhi Capitals' state in this year's IPL.

Delhi Capitals started their IPL 2025 campaign on a high note after winning the first five games out of six and were looking like they would qualify for the playoffs easily.
"Ek na bada famous dialogue chal raha hai. Either we win, or we learn. Or either learning hee hue jaa rahi hai. Win toh ho hee nahin rahi hai. Yeh aur ek saal jod dijiye learning mein. Kitna learn karke aayenge. Kahin na kahin mujhe lagta hai, focus karna chahiye ki kahan chook hui hai."
"Auction mein woh khliaadiyon ko kyun nahin chuna. Middle-order mein itne badhiya khiladi they aapke paas, jo le sakte they. Jinke upar nazar nahin gayi, vahan chook hui hai. Mujhe lagta hai shopping acchi nahin kari unhone." Harbhajan Singh said on Star Sports after the match.
In the post-match show, Harbhajan felt Delhi wasn’t winning in the IPL, they just learn every season and came with the same learning in the next season as well.
According to Harbhajan, Delhi’s approach wasn’t good in the second half of the tournament. Delhi lost a virtually knockout game against the Mumbai Indians in Wankhede Stadium and went out of IPL 2025.
After conceding 180 runs at Wankhede, fans were hoping Delhi would win the game but they were bundled out on 121 runs and lost the match by 59 runs.

Harbhajan Singh trolls Delhi Capitals
Harbhajan Singh trolled Delhi Capitals management as they were shaking hands at the auction table like they got what they wanted for their team. But Delhi didn't buy any experienced players for the middle order.
Delhi's batting order was their main problem throughout the IPL 2025 season. Harbhajan Singh wants Delhi to come out of learning in the next season.
What went wrong for the Delhi Capitals?
Delhi Capitals' top order never looked settled in the ongoing IPL season. They started with an opening combination of Faf Du Plessis and Jake Fraser McGurk, but JFM didn't perform in any match, and thus ultimately, Delhi dropped him from the playing XI.
Du Plessis was also ruled out in some matches due to injury. KL Rahul was used as a backup opener, but Delhi never gave him a stable position in the playing XI.
Delhi's batting order was the main reason for their underperformance in the second half of the tournament.
