Axl Rose, 63, Sparks Fan Concern at Recent Guns N' Roses Show ...Saudi Arabia

Guns N' Roses is currently on a global tour, which kicked off on May 1, 2025, and on May 13, they played a show in Bangkok.

A video from the concert was shared on TikTok by @nawap.m, featuring the band's performance of their hit cover, "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." At 63 years old, lead singer Axl Rose deserves all the accolades for getting up on stage and belting his heart out after all these years, but this particular song left some fans concerned.

His voice just sounded... off.

One person remarked, "I honestly don’t think these people care whether he sounds bad, they just want to see him. He needs to go and get his voice back then come back."

Someone else added, "Bro's really knocking on heaven's door," and another person said, "He sacrificed his voice back in the 80s-90s to give us masterpieces..."

Another fan joked, "Old Axl sounds like me, tryin to sing like young Axl ?" It's pretty safe to say plenty of us can related to that statement.

Someone else had a suggestion for the singer, saying, "He should sing in his baritone voice, he's clearly lost the ability for his high voice, but his baritone voice is still really, really good."

Despite one person even saying the performance was "painful" to watch, Rose does have his fair share of supporters.

One said, "He's trying his best," and another added, "I think he's still got it. It's a faint old pitch, but if you listen carefully, you can still hear his old voice... but still no disrespect to him at all. I think he's going strong."

Regardless of the fact that he might not have exactly the same set of pipes as he did in the 1980s, not many 63 year olds are out on a worldwide concert tour right now. Let's give the guy a break, ok?
