Mumbai Indians announced their replacement for the IPL 2025 playoffs as Will Jacks, Ryan Rickleton and Corbin Bosch will leave India to join their national side after Mumbai’s last league stage match.
Jacks is named in England’s squad for the white-ball series against the West Indies. Meanwhile, Rickleton and Bosch were in the South Africa’s Test squad for the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 final against Australia.

Mumbai Indians replacements
The five-time champion signed an English wicket-keeper batter in place of fellow English player Jacks. Bairstow will join Mumbai’s squad for INR 5.25 crore for just the playoffs.
Another English player, Richard Gleeson, will join Mumbai’s squad in place of Rickleton. Gleeson will join Mumbai’s camp for INR 1 crore.
Sri Lanka T20I skipper Charith Asalanka will be a replacement for Corbin Bosch at a reserve price of INR 75 lakhs.
