TRAVIS KELCE has cancelled his Kansas City music festival ahead of the new NFL season.
The third edition of Kelce Jam had been expected to take place later this summer.
Travis organized a 20,000-strong party last May with artists including artists Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and Diplo in attendance.
But the Chiefs tight end has announced there will be no event held in 2025.
“Kelce Jam is planning ahead for 2026,” a statement on Kelce’s Instagram read.
“Although we’ll miss being with you this year, we’re taking this time to gear up for an even bigger, better, and more unforgettable experience next summer.
“Stay tuned for exciting updates and announcements. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again soon.”
Despite no official confirmation, Kelce had been giving away tickets for Kelce Jam in competitions run earlier this year, per the Daily Mail.
The 35-year-old recently confirmed he will return for another season with the Chiefs.
It comes after heartbreak at Super Bowl LIX in February, where a below-par Kelce was denied a historic threepeat by the Philadelphia Eagles.
“I knew it in my gut it wasn’t happening this year,” wrote one disappointed fan on Instagram in response to Kelce’s statement.
“It’s ok he needs to focus on himself and enjoy his off time before football season starts.”
“I can’t wait to find out the dates for next year and I hope I can be there I would love to be at Kelce Jam,” said another.
“Rest up big Trav,” added a third.
Kelce recently broke cover with girlfriend Taylor Swift after a period away from the spotlight.
The pair were spotted enjoying a Mother’s Day meal with family in Philadelphia over the weekend.
It was the NFL power couple’s first public appearance since March.
'Well-talked-about personal life'
Travis Kelce was asked about his relationship with Taylor Swift during an interview with Good Morning America.
But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a cagey response.
“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier,” Kelce told GMA.
“I’ve always been a very grounded guy. It might not come off that way when I’m playing football.
“But off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to get too far down the road.
“Because you never know what opportunities are going to present themselves.”
Kelce recently showcased his off-season body transformation after dropping 25 pounds.
The ten-time Pro Bowler looked lean as he joined brother Jason at an Amazon Upfront event in New York City.
Last season, Kelce put up career lows for both receiving yards and touchdowns.
The Chiefs are eagerly awaiting news of the NFL 2025 season schedule, with the full calendar released on May 14.
