Punjab Kings (PBKS) batter Nehal Wadhera didn't have a great outing with the bat in the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The game between the two teams is taking place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
Nehal Wadhera, who batted at number four, was expected to play a major role for Punjab Kings in the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants, especially after the platform set by the top and middle order. But that wasn't the case as the batter couldn't carry on the start that he had.
Nehal Wadhera started his innings with a brilliant four, and it seemed that he would play a brutal hand. The Punjab Kings batter played some great shots during his stay at the crease, but he failed to get going against Prince Yadav, who had better off him.
On the second ball of the 16th over, Prince Yadav bowled yorker yorker-length delivery on leg stump. Nehal Wadhera tried to get inside the line and paddle. He missed the ball completely as it went on to hit the leg stump, as the batter got bowled around his legs.

Nehal Wadhera was back in the hut after scoring 16 runs off 9 balls. His innings was laced with two boundaries and one six as he batted with a strike rate of over 177. With his wicket, Punjab Kings lost their fourth wicket for 172 runs.
Nehal Wadhera has been struggling against pacers in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The batter averages just around 18 in the league, while he has been extremely solid against spinners, averaging over 50.
