The Arizona Diamondbacks optioned right-handed reliever Drey Jameson to Triple-A Reno on Monday, per the team’s transactions page.
Jameson made three appearances since coming back up for the first time in nearly 700 days after returning from a lengthy Tommy John rehab.
He gave up one run over three innings in three games with four hits and three walks allowed, all of which came in the last two outings after a perfect inning his first time out.
His departure comes as reliever Kevin Ginkel has shared photos from New York on Instagram, indicating his season debut could be coming after starting on the injured list with a shoulder injury.

He is entering his seventh season in the majors, all with the Diamondbacks.
He had a 3.21 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in 2024 over a career-high 72 appearances, carrying about a 3-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He saw six innings of work in spring training before the injury, giving up one run on two hits (1.50 ERA).
He would join a bullpen that has a 4.64 ERA (eighth-worst in majors) and has blown five of 13 save opportunities.
The Diamondbacks begin a three-game series on Tuesday at the Mets, who became the first team to 20 wins on Monday, before a three-game series at the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday.
