After attracting criticism for admitting that she uses a GLP-1 medication to help lose weight, Janelle Rohner claimed she refunded fans who purchased her health programs.
In a TikTok video shared by the wellness influencer, 37, on Sunday, April 27, Rohner responded to a fan who asked, “Have you refunded anyone yet?” in the comments section. The fan’s question received 817 Likes in three hours.
“Yes,” Rohner, a certified macro coach, replied to the comment in the early hours of Monday, April 28.
Rohner’s update came after she told fans in a TikTok video posted three days prior that she was “willing” to refund anybody who purchased one of her “30 Day Shred” classes or “Macros 101 course” within the last 11 months. While the former class claims to help customers lose weight, the latter teaches them how to calculate macros, short for macronutrients which are mainly carbs, protein and fat according to Healthline.

In the earlier TikTok video, Rohner explained why she revealed that she had been taking an undisclosed GLP-1 medication to help her achieve her weight loss goals. “I’m not asking for sympathy, I’m just trying to do the right thing and I’m trying to be honest now,” she told fans. “I could have kept this a secret, I could’ve gone on and on for years and not told, and I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to be that influencer. I haven’t done a Shred class since last year because I just didn’t feel right about doing it.”
Rohner added that while she understood that some may view her in a different light after learning she uses GLP-1, she believed her wellness offerings retain merit. “I still wholeheartedly believe in tracking macros and the workouts that I do and my classes,” she explained. “I did not take a GLP-1 because I don’t believe in my classes and macros wasn’t working. I did it for other personal and health reasons to use as a tool to hit my goals. And if people felt deceived by that, I really, truly am sorry, and I am willing to do a refund for anybody who bought a class in the last 11 months.”
Rohner, a nurse with two children, added in the video that she takes “anti-anxiety, antidepressant medication,” which has also “helped me to lose weight.”

She concluded the post, “If you want to stay here and follow my journey and support me, I love you, thank you. If my page is not for you, I also understand that. I’m just trying to do what I think is right here.”
On Wednesday, April 23, Rohner detailed her GLP-1 use in a YouTube video description. “This isn’t easy to say, but I owe it to you to be honest. Janelle Rohner is microdosing a GLP-1,” she wrote. “I’ve quietly been working on my mental health, trying to find peace in the chaos. I know sharing this might open me up to judgment, but hiding it would mean losing the most important thing: my truth.”
The note continued, “I’m not perfect, but l’m healing, and I hope that means something to someone out there who’s struggling too.”
