Feeling inspired by Travis Scott‘s guest appearance at WrestleMania, Killer Mike was compelled to step into the booth and drop a fiery freestyle over La Flame and Playboi Carti’s “FE!N” beat.
“I woke up with ‘Mania on my Mind. This beat is so cold I had to kill it,” The Atlanta rapper wrote to X after releasing the freestyle on Tuesday.

04/21/2025While it seems like an unlikely mix, Killer Mike rides the ominous Jahaan Sweet production with ease. “We watching Cody Rhodes wrestle/ F— a few million, I want a billion/ Yeah I wanna be Tony Ressler,” he raps.
Mike flexes his belief that he’s one of the best to ever pick up a pen. “At rapping I’m one of the best/ I was an early investor/ The school of hard knocks with hustle and rocks/ Trying to be the professor,” the Run the Jewels rhymer spews.

— Killer Mike (@KillerMike) April 22, 2025Fans welcomed the unexpected birthday gift from Mike, who turned 50 on April 20, and showed him love in the YouTube comment section.
“Man went off with the pedal to the floor,” one fan wrote. Another added: “On a utopia beat is crazyyyyyyy goatttt!”
There hasn’t been much overlap between Travis Scott and Killer Mike in the past. However, the duo faced off at the 2024 Grammy Awards when Mike’s Michael won best rap album over La Flame’s Utopia project, as well as Nas’ King’s Disease 3, Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss and Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains.
“FE!N” served as a standout on Scott’s Utopia album, and the chaotic track reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Scott made his presence felt at WrestleMania on Sunday night when he interrupted John Cena and Cody Rhodes’ undisputed WWE champion title fight.
La Flame even pulled the ref out of the ring and took a bump after being on the receiving end of Rhodes’ Cross Rhodes. Scott’s interference helped Cena defeat Rhodes to capture his record-breaking 17th world title.
