MICHAEL Jordan had plenty to say after his Nascar co-owner, Denny Hamlin, brought home his second win of the season.
Hamlin took the checkered flag in Darlington in first place, and Jordan could only call him a “clown.”
Hamlin’s first win of the season came a week prior in Martinsville, and he brought out plenty of shenanigans after the race.
He stood on the roof of his car with an “11 against the world” flag, which was given to him by a fan.
Jordan was in attendance to watch Hamlin win at Darlington on Sunday, and gave his reaction about his co-owner’s antics.
“He is a clown,” Jordan told Fox Sports.
“But that’s him. That’s Denny. He’s a very confident driver. He is a very confident person.”
Jordan switch into a complimentary stance though, and compared Hamlin to himself.
“His competitive juice is no different than mine,” he said.
“I mean, I love that he’s gotten back to winning and I want him to win a championship so badly, because I think he’s earned that because of what he is done for the sport for so long.
“And he’s gonna grind it out. That’s just the way Denny is.
“And you know, if you boo him that makes him better. You know, you boo me that makes me better.
“I mean that’s just the nature of a good competitor.”
Hamlin is one of Nascar‘s greatest drivers, amassing 56 career wins.
However, he is still chasing a championship which he has yet to achieve.
He has by far the most Nascar wins without a championship to his name.
Hamlin and Jordan are still wrapped up in a lawsuit with Nascar as they look to change the charter system.

The lawsuit goes as far as to claim that the racing series is “monopolistic bullies.”
Nascar fired back by suing 23XI (Jordan’s team), Front Row, and Jordan’s right hand man, Curtis Polk.
The racing series claimed that Jordan’s team was part of an “illegal cartel.”
A hearing for the lawsuit is slated for later this year.
