Jason Clarke looks nothing like himself in new photos snapped by paparazzi.

The Zero Dark Thirty actor usually sports some scruff and a darker 'do, sometimes adding a pair of black-frame specs. But his most recent sighting has rendered him completely unrecognizable, as the 55-year-old rocked a clean-shaven look with a much lighter, bleach-blonde head of hair.

In the snaps, which were first obtained by the Daily Mail on Thursday, April 3, the actor wore a white button-up dress shirt, khaki trousers, a yellow and blue striped tie, black aviator sunglasses and a pair of black slides.

According to the outlet, the pictures were snapped this week while Clarke was busy filming Hulu's upcoming true crime mini-seriesThe Murdaugh Murders, in which he portrays Alex Murdaugh, the former South Carolina lawyer who is currently serving life in prison after being found guilty of murdering his wife, Maggie, and their younger son, Paul, outside of the family's home in 2021. Murdaugh denied the charges and has since appealed. He was also sentenced to an additional 40 years for stealing from clients and his law firm.

The Murdaugh Murders is based on Mandy Matney's reporting as well as exclusive insights from years spent podcasting the case, with Matney, Erin Lee Carr (Mommy Dead and Dearest, Britney Vs. Spears) and Michael D. Fuller (Quarry and Rectify) writing, per IMDb. It also stars Patricia Arquette, Ryan Paynter, Will Harrison, Johnny Berchtold and Patch Darragh.

A release date has not yet been announced, but it's expected to hit the streamer sometime this year.
